Tristan Sandoval, February Youth of the Month Winner

Tristan Sandoval is 10 years old and has been a member of the Frisco Boys and Girls Club for 2.5 years. Tristan is an active member and enjoys playing video games and jumping on his trampoline. At the club, Tristan is always willing to help others by volunteering his time to tutor younger children, participate in Club Clean Up, and assisting the staff with any projects that are going on. Although he is an older member of the Club, he still finds time to spend with his younger sister Samera and brother Joshua. "I love everything about the Club", Tristan says. "I'm going to be here for a long time."

Corde Jackson, February Youth of the Month Winner

Corde Jackson is such a sweet and intellegent seven year old! She is always eager to help others at her branch and participates in many club activities including Power Hour, SMART Girls, Sports, Kids Assemble, Money Matters, and SMART Moves. When Corde is not at the club, she likes to spend her time playing at the park, listening to music, singing, and being with her family.

Mikayla Berry, a fourth grader at Meadows Elementary, is a proud member of the Boys & Girls Clubs Plano Branch. Mikayla loves dancing, computers, basketball, pool, ping pong, and movies. She makes it top priority to attend all power hour sessions, special programs at the branch, and even helps the younger children with homework when they need her. Always with a cheerful smile, it is quite obvious Mikayla enjoys participating in many activities at the branch and enjoys spending time with her friends there. According to Frisco Branch Director Karen Johnson, Mikayla is "going to be a star one day!"
