Lexus announces title sponsorship of Boys and Girls Clubs' 2007 Chrysalis Ball

September 12, 2007, McKinney, Texas - The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County will host its annual fundraising gala on November 3 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Frisco. The non-profit organization recently announced the Dallas - Fort Worth Lexus Dealers will serve as Title Sponsor of the premier event.

"We're proud to support the 2007 Chrysalis Ball in giving back to this very deserving organization in Collin County," Stephen Tolerico, Sewell Lexus spokesperson, said. "Our involvement reflects the importance that both our clients and our associates place on young people and their needs. We hope that other companies will join us in supporting the 2007 Chrysalis Ball."

Park Place Lexus President, Jordan Case, expressed the importance of supporting this premier event: "Lexus is committed to giving back within local communities, the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County plays a vital role inspiring and enabling underprivileged youth and we're honored to support these efforts.

Case also expressed his excitement for this year's event titled 2007 Chrysalis Ball: A Celebration of Heroes, "It's really an appropriate title, those who positively impact the lives of children truly are the heroes in our community."

Other gala announcements made during evening included The Pointer Sisters as the night's headlining entertainment, a live and silent auction donor match up to $150,000 provided by former Boys and Girls Clubs member and Collin County developer, John Lowery, and a special V.I.P. Celebrity Red Carpet will feature former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Drew Pearson, NBC5 sportscaster, Newy Scruggs, and other local celebrities.

Since 2003, the BGCCC has raised more than $803,000 from the annual black-tie gala with the event continuing to grow in size and popularity with both private and business donors. A record fundraising goal of $500,000 is set for this year's event.

"We are thrilled and so grateful to have the Dallas - Fort Worth Lexus Dealers serve the title sponsor for this year's gala," Christina Alford, BGCCC chief executive officer, said. "Through their sponsorship, as well as the support from other community business leaders, every one of the young lives we serve will be impacted in a positive manner."

The 2007 Chrysalis Ball: A Celebration of Heroes will also include a four-course dinner, open bar, casino, luxury live and silent auctions, and a fabulous top shelf martini bar. Corporate sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are still available.
