Youth today can develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts including photography, performing arts and creative writing. Performing arts includes dance classes with Chamberlin Ballet from Plano; music classes in violin with Cross Timbers Youth Orchestra; piano and guitar lessons; and theater/acting classes that also include viewing Plano Children's Theater productions and other on stage productions during the year through field trips. Creative writing gives youth an outlet to demonstrate their poetry and writing skills.
