Frisco hosted their annual Girls Empowerment Forum entitled “Explore, Imagine, & Empower Me!”
We had different speakers teach the girls about defining themselves, loving themselves, how society and media can influence your self-image, and your life and how to look at yourself in a positive way. Girls learned about fashion and how to pair different patterns and colors together and raced against each other and voted for the best outfits! They wrapped up with a Freedom Dance led by Mrs. Lisa Vernon.
Amongst the great speakers we had special guest Miss Texas Outstanding Teen 2016, Heather King, she spoke to the girls the importance of being yourself.
