Thanks to CA Technologies & Boys & Girls Clubs of America the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Frisco branch teamed up for a Tech Girls Rock workshop that had girls rotating among such activities as computer coding, tower building, information gathering and listening to professionals talk about the range of career opportunities in the tech industry. On International Women’s Day even a morning power outage couldn’t keep dozens of Frisco girls from glimpsing their potential future in fields such as computer programming, information technology or engineering.
