A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

Mentoring our children is one of the most important volunteer services that can be provided to our members. When that mentor is a Police Officer it speaks volumes of the relationship between our first responders in all the cities we serve, both police and fire.

Lt. Mike Hagan, of the Frisco Police Department is pictured helping one of our children with homework. He like so many police and fire department members visit our clubs on a regular basis, building relationships, mentoring and just explaining to the children their duties and roles in the community. Whether it is a visit by our club members to a station or the police and fire departments bring equipment to our branches, it helps build understanding, respect, trust.
